Such a great night hearing stories from the old #sunsetstrip #metal #rock days! Got to tell this guy, #frankiebanali drummer for #quietriot about when I was in my first band in high school with all guys. They were tired of playing #patbenatar and #stevienicks covers, so they told me I had to learn some guy songs as a trade off. So, we rented a smoke machine and I led the band on vocals to #metalhealth #bangyourhead pounding my tambourine on my leg the whole time! Wow! “Old dreams die to let new ones begin” . . . this was one of the engravings on a wrap bracelet Cindy was wearing on the morning we met for breakfast at Jinky’s in Sherman Oaks, CA.  She exclaimed, “I designed this bracelet, these are lyrics from my songs,” as she took it off and placed […]

On January  30, 2013 a friend of mine took me to see the Who at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.  It was that night I was blown away by the opening act, “Steven Roth”.  A performance full of all the elements of the live concert shows I had grown up watching.  Real musicians […]
